"The genre of photography I generally shoot is portraiture, documentary and lifestyle.

I would say my life is my own storybook; every time I turn the page I want the next thing to be unknowingly memorable, like when you look back through your family photo albums and only remember that certain time in your life when you see that photograph. People are always creating memories, why not capture them and save them forever? My images include various moments in peoples lives, hoping to capture them in a way that other people can see a story within them.

Out of the many other photographers that influence me I think I would have to say that Sally Mann, Annie Leibovitz and Vivian Maier are the ones that have the biggest impact, the reason for this is because they shoot the world around them and what is happening in their lives at that very moment. Not that their images are the most visually pleasing but I like the story behind them, like my own photographs.

I am wanting to succeed in college so I can further my education at University where I will build my skills and create more memories at the same time as creating a better future for myself. The time I spend at university would be added to my life’s storybook and I will keep all these memories forever."
